AMEVA ORDERING GUIDE

Planning Personalised Wedding Napkin Embroidery

Embroidered napkins can carry a shared monogram, a wedding date or a personal message. The easiest way to plan an order is to decide which details repeat and which change before you buy the blank linen.

Discuss your order

Choose a shared design or individual names

A single monogram or shared wording repeated across the order is different from a separate guest name on every napkin. Ameva's discounted quantities require identical wording, design and colours. Individual guest names should be listed separately in your enquiry so the official quote reflects the work you actually need.

Check the napkin before ordering a whole set

Send the product link or a photograph showing the fabric, edges and intended embroidery area. Ask Ameva to check suitability before purchasing. Decide how the napkin will be folded and indicate where you want the lettering to appear. A small corner detail and a larger central design need different placement decisions.

Keep wording unambiguous

Provide the final names, initials and date in typed text. If you have a guest list, check spelling and capitalisation before submitting it. State whether an ampersand, surname or title should appear. Reference images help communicate a style, but the exact text still needs to be supplied separately.

Choose colours with the linen in mind

Tell the team the colour of the napkin and the thread colours you prefer. If you already selected thread codes from Ameva's colour page, include them with the enquiry. Ask the team to confirm availability and the final selection. A colour viewed on a screen can look different on fabric.

Budget for embroidery, linen and delivery

Embroidery is R125 for one suitable item, R460 for four, R660 for six, and R95 each for 30 or more. Matching wording, design and colours are required for discounted quantities. Blank napkins are supplied by you; delivery is separate. Ask for a quote for your exact quantity and any mixed wording rather than assuming an unlisted bundle.

Work backwards from the wedding date

Ameva works by mail-in only, with no customer visits or collections. Production is typically 3–4 days from receipt of your items, including weekends and full payment is required before work starts. Allow separately for both journeys and confirm the schedule before sending linen. Include your wedding date, required delivery date and town in the first message.
