AMEVA ORDERING GUIDE

Preparing Artwork for Your Embroidery Order

A useful artwork brief tells us what to stitch, where it belongs and which details matter. You do not need to turn your picture into an embroidery file yourself. Send your artwork for review with a clear description of the item you will supply.

Discuss your order

Send the clearest original you have

Send your original logo or reference image rather than a cropped screenshot where possible. If you already have an embroidery stitch file, send it for review too. Include your order reference so the designer can match the artwork to your order. Send artwork on WhatsApp to 082 856 6616; general order enquiries go to 071 477 7792.

Type names and dates separately

Type the final wording exactly as it should appear, including spelling, capital letters, punctuation and dates. For different names on matching items, provide a numbered list with the quantity beside each name. A reference image describes the style; your typed wording tells us which text to use.

Show the item, placement and size

Include an item photo or Takealot link and describe the placement, such as a napkin corner or left chest. Give your preferred embroidery width and height in millimetres. Our machine has a 400 × 600 mm working area and a cap attachment, but that does not mean every item or cap can accommodate that size. We confirm the usable area for the specific item.

Map thread colours to the design

Choose from our available Isacord colours and tell us which code belongs to each part of the artwork. For example: surname in one code and the decorative border in another. Include the colour of the blank item. We confirm the final selection with the design; a screen preview is not an exact physical colour sample.

Review the proof before giving approval

Check the spelling, design, colours, size and placement when your proof arrives. The standard inclusion is one initial design plus two revision rounds. Send a consolidated list of changes for each round. We arrange approval before your items arrive and require full payment and design approval before stitching. Ask us to agree any work beyond the included scope before proceeding.

Keep the order and parcel connected

Use the same order reference in your artwork message and with your parcel. Tell us if your items will arrive in separate deliveries. Production is typically 3–4 days from receipt, including weekends; delivery time is separate. Confirm the schedule if the design or arrival arrangements change.
